Aled has been DJing in and around Nottingham for over 6 years now. His name has become synonymous with advanced electronix within the city. He was first bitten by the electronic bug in late '92, when early AFX, Orb, Plastikman and Black Dog was de-rigueur on car stereos speeding across Anglesey's bleak rural landscapes. By the time he got to Nottingham, Jungle was dominating the underground club scene, and he duly took up DJing said genre. Well-established residencies at the Lenton and Blueprint Club followed.

A founder member of DELTA 9, he took an active role in putting on numerous parties. He continues to hold a wide range of residencies, and has played in nigh on every club/bar/house party worth its salt in Nottingham, and even the odd fashion show, wedding, site party and London gig.

His style varies from intricate electronica to storming electro and ghettotech, dubby house to drill n bass, bootleg mash-ups to peak-time Detroit-influenced techno. He feels it is important to sustain the flow of a set, be it thoughtful or thumping, and often dazzles punters with seamless mixing and unsurpassed tune selection.

He has played alongside guests as diverse as Maddog Wallace (Rephlex), Brooks (Mantis), Paul Blackford (Breakin'), Tobias Schmidt (Tresor, Sativae), Mark Hawkins (Djax, Crime), Strictly Kev (Ninja), and Tobias Von Hofsten (Illegal, Stockholm).
