It’s good to be back, I nearly wasn’t. The future of Braiken News seemed doomed after BN#02 – I think I touched a nerve with something I wrote and some rotters started tinkering with my technology. I won’t go into details but it was really rather tiresome and I am only back online thanks to the quick-thinking of Saint Acid.
You may have noted the lack of visual documentation from Robot Music Reborn at the District the other week. This was due, in part, to some sadistic sabotage for reasons left unclear. We believe that we were attacked through our digital cameras and mobile telephones. Extensive research carried out at the Beyondlush Scientific Research Centre suggest that digital signals transmitted from massive electronic devices were to blame.
Evidence suggests, “…that digital cameras are constantly picking up a radio signal that conforms to U.S. World Security Guidelines.”

Without this signal, all digital technology is rendered obsolete and life in the Western Civilisation is largely terminated.

It is, however, prudent for those in control of these transmissions to “keep pumping out the invisible spunk” as they are surely using digital cameras as eyes to see into our lives. Science Fiction brainiacs aliken this to the Eye of Sauron from The Lord of the Rings books. Please note that the author, Tolkien lived an unnaturally long life (he is thought to have died aged 171) and is widely considered to be the first man to decifer “a series of mucked-up squiggles from Mars” (source; the RaveBot). This text later became the basis for The Lord of the Rings story. He also had a prosthetic (i.e. robotic) pelvis. Coincidence?
